Why is the Natlan treasure compass so bad?

It’s happened so often now that I’m staring right at the thing and the compass pretends there’s NOTHING — I’ve never had this with other regions, usually it marks challenges and money piles too… right??
Worked up all my Natlan reputation and feel kinda scammed rn…

Not a literal money scam but a time investment scam, because it’s supposed to find treasures and the like, and make exploration easier, but it just doesn’t. And I spent time working up my reputation to get the item

That's still not a scam but might be a bug , I sed the compass to 100% all of Natlan and while it wasn't all straight forward and easy it helped tremendously

Is it a bug though that will be fixed, or is it intentional game design? I read another comment saying they also noticed Natlan showing way less with the compass compared to other regions.
We got too hung up on the definition of scam or not here, the problem remains

How's your exploration percentage? The compass starts to mark those boxes at like 80-90%.

I'm a huge exploration fan, I have all Natlan regions at 85-95 already and just using the compass to try and finish the last few percent. I also attached multiple images, it's also not showing chests behind walls, rocks or challenges

I agree the Natlan compass is objectively the worst compass in the game, idk why it’s so bad. Once I got the Fontaine compass, I burned through the nation with ease. Even with the Natlan compass, I found myself having to use guides because it wasn’t really helping. Honestly, the pyroculus helped me find its treasure much more than the actual compass did.

Thanks for confirming I'm not just an idiot but it actually does show less in Natlan than other regions! idk why they would do that...

That box is mora box not a chest

Those box only appear on the compass when you have done most of the chest

I attached multiple images, it's also not showing chests behind walls, rocks or challenges. And my exploration is at 85-95% already, so it should show the money boxes as well, no?
