I could not deal enough hydro or DPS if I replaced Columbina with Yelan, those stupid freakin baby crabs wouldn’t go away quick enough, Columbina is built DPS and I used burst Skirk when the crab was down 😩. Skirk hit 700k+ too with this team 😬

I mean it's just that you have good characters with multiple cons yet you're saying you struggled. I'm assuming your builds are good so the only issue as you say is the small crabs.
Granted I've heard more recently that this Stygian is especially rough, so actually if someone like you did struggle maybe that says more about the enemy designs than you as a player.
Either way, I've seen a few of these posts by very weird individuals where they act like Dire is so hard yet they are clearly a whale. Nothing against whales, they fund the game I like but when they get an ego and try to deflect that puts me off. Not saying this is you, it was just a surface level impression.

Yea. Furina and Yelan should be enough to get those crab shields down, it was pretty frustrating and annoying. My Yelan is only C1 though, so I guess that’s the problem 🙄

As I said it wasn't just anti-whale, I specifically point out I actually appreciate whales because again they fund the game I enjoy. Without them Genshin literally wouldn't exist anymore. I clarified it's specifically those with an ego and blatantly try to deflect (which again I clarified is not you).
I also said because I heard only recently that this Stygian cycle was rough, it could be taken as a fault of the enemy designs, not the player operating the characters. IE: If even a whale is struggling to clear Dire, assuming they have the favored characters, that's a sign of a problem on the game. I've heard especially nasty things about the abyss cat.
I have no issue with not being a whale. I bought welkin for a couple years which is pretty much all I've spent. I'm comfortable with the money I've given the game. Rarely do I even spend money on non-base game purchases.
