In all fairness I never heard anyone getting banned for LootBar. It's still a slight risk but that's the case with any non-partnered sites like this. It's the same with buying video game keys. I've been doing it for like 15 years and nothing ever happened, but it's still a small risk I'm agreeing to take.

I've been skeptical about them since I heard about them, which was fairly recently. That's just because I am skeptical of pretty much any third party site because I just know how the world is these days.
However, that being said, they actually do have a really high five-star rating with trust pilot with a ton of reviews on it. So, I decided to start really small just to see if it would actually work because nothing says you have to go in and whale for your first purchase.
I'm on PlayStation and as soon as I bought the 300 Genesis Crystal package it was on my account within about 10 seconds, if that. Since that worked, I went ahead and bought the package of Genesis crystals that I actually wanted to get after that. The only thing that happened was my bank shot me a quick text making sure that the larger purchase was not a fraud attempt. I did the purchase through PayPal, so I never gave them any of my card information and I made sure I didn't save my PayPal information either.
Once again, I got the purchase of Genesis crystals within less than 10 seconds. Overall I have to give props to loot bar for how quickly I got the crystals that I purchased but also to my bank for making sure that the purchase was not fraud. I will be using loot bar in the future as I had a good experience with them
