I’m genuinely asking this question because I’m curious and wish to understand. Why do you remain f2p when you can buy a welkin for 3£, which saves SO MUCH time in the long run? ( you obviously know this sorry for stating the obvious )

I completely understand how expensive the normal bundles are but welkins are worth a bag of sweets?

Gacha RNG sucks but remaining F2P is essentially making the suffering twice as bad lol

It's not really a grind though when that grind is 90% time gated. Like you do all the exploration, all the world quests and then you only have events, dailies and end game as a primo source. A grind implies you can keep grinding. Grinding primos is more like a whittle, you just take a tiny bit off at a time.

I can't speak for OP, but I guess in my case I play more than 1 gacha game so I would have to buy 4-5 bag of sweets a month on top of the games I want to buy and play on Steam or consoles.

Okay that makes sense. I started playing Both Wuwa and Genshin and I just couldn’t fund both plus find the time to play both properly. So I quit Wuwa. The gameplay is great but the story is so doo doooo

Thats the patch I started playing it lol. I think I started like 2-3 days before it ended and dumped everything in her banner instead of the beginner one but didn't get her XD.

Damn that’s a shame dude. She’s pretty fun and I actually REALLY enjoyed her story quest. All the other quests tho to me were so bad. Wuwa didn’t do a good enough job explaining the setting.

So much exposition and not even 10 mins into the game they kept yapping abt Tacet fields, yap yap yap. Still solid tho, no shame in liking Wuwa

Ya, I got pretty bored in the beginning of the game, stuck around and saw a little of the main story, and called it quits. I'm sure it has some good moments, but I wasn't sure how long it'd take to get there and ran back to Hoyo games.

I think Genshin and Star Rail kept my attention with their story quests better (though Star Rail's powercreep can get ridiculous at times, some of my characters feel like they turned useless pretty useless faster than I expected)

I just got Capturing Radiance the other day after losing some 50/50's and I did, in fact, get two 5-star featured characters.

I thought Capturing Radiance only slightly upped your chances of not losing the 50/50, up until the fourth loss on which you'd automatically win. **Why would a double 5-star be any more likely than it normally is?**

I feel rather unintelligent asking this, but I couldn't find anything confirming the increased double 5-star chance, other than my single experience and your words.

I finally got Dehya on the first anni where they gave a free standard. My next two 50/50 losses were Dehya. To be fair, at least it wasn't the other pyro claymore batman knock-off again. That one's c8. In comparison, my second highest standard is c3 jean

Well there was a year that I lost all my 50/50s to Keqing. I think she’s like C8 or C9 at this point. Back when there’s no capturing radiance. I’m like bottom 6-7% in terms of gacha luck. Hahaha.

If you use the quarterly constellation boosts to get them past c6 you can start collecting masterless starglitter to boost characters you do care about to level 95. And at c6 even standard characters 5* are worth investing in.
