Im a returning player who did a bunch of pulls and got some interesting looking 4 stars.
Im thinking of building either ifa or candace. Which should i go for first? I know neither are the strongest thing ever but they both seem fun to play.
I'd go for Ifa. I don't play him a ton but I've had more fun playing him than I have Candace.

I would build Ifa first, as he is a main DPS and he can heal + he is good at exploring.

Not a "main DPS" per se, just on-field to drive other skills like Beidou or Xingqiu burst. The damage is mostly coming from there.
If Ifa is called "main DPS", then so is Sucrose.

You don't really need to "build" Ifa, most of his utility is inside his kit and not his personal numbers

"Seems fun to play" is always the best reason to build a character. I'm also going through my backlog of 4 stars and trying to build up the under-powered but fun characters.

My vote to Ifa. I played him in a taser team and it feel pretty fun flying around zapping people while still effective.
I used my c6 Candace through out Fontaine solely for beauty appreciation purpose, she's a lot more difficult to make work.

Ifa he has utility in his kit... candace.... does.... stuff. maybe slap some gear on them and see how they feel.
