It's spelled out normally when she personally writes a letter. It's only during game related notifications that the letters get separated.

Some say P.A.I.M.O.N is actually our ship's AI. While Paimon is the manifestation of that AI, hence why she loves guiding us. The theory is the Heavenly Principles attempted to strip the AI from our ship but failed, thus they just seal it on the moon. Then, the AI is manifested into our hands as Paimon the guide.

P.A.I.M.O.N speaks to the actual player in front of the device, while Paimon talks to the main character. Same way as the Express Crew speaks to the player in Star Rail. I fail to see how it's sus

P.A.I.M.O.N = AI = Heavenly Principles = developers = controls everything that goes on in the story
