Flins, since it would be cheaper as you already have his best team assuming you also have Sucrose. They are very similar dps wise though Zibai came with the caveat that she wants C6 Illuga and probably C6 Gorou as well. Trying to C6 a 4 star character is honestly harder sometimes than getting the banner character.

Just saw that you have Varesa. While that means you do have a better electro team, they don't share teammates so you could theoretically use both teams at the same time.

i dont think its matter short term. both will still works with columbina + ineffa. imo i would say Zibai instead, since then you have coverage of Geo, and especially since you care about Meta, Itto is in a worst state than Varesa is for their respective element. and on top of that, ineffa + bina duo is stong enough witouth flins to cover the electro/lunar charge shills

From what I've read here, let me give a bit of advice. If this is just "Your favorite characters" account, don't pull for Ineffa. If you are doubting yourself for even a second, don't do it. Remind yourself that this is not an account that chases the meta, this is an account that showcases your most favorite characters in genshin impact.


As someone with OCD, is f2p, and also only pulls for characters they like personality-wise, I have lost sleep by having Xilonen on my account. Despite how good she is, I find her painfully boring.

Lunar-bloom and lunar-charged without their specific units (Lauma and Ineffa) are just alright. You are also trading Yelan's quicker bloom generation for Columbina's slower application, so while you get some lunar-bloom/charged damage, you get less hyperbloom. So it may be a case of a sidegrade, or a minor upgrade to your current team that may not justify the investment (12-24k primogems) if you're not planning to pull for the lunar characters in the future (Ineffa, Lauma, Flins, Nefer, Zibai).

also you probably get better result doing neuvi furina kazu xilonen, and then goes navia chiori columbina ineffa. if you must have shield on the first team, consider keeping furina + xilonen on 2nd team and goes chiori ineffa on 1st team i guess.

no. the only good lunar bloom teams are bina dps and nefer and both need lauma to do existent damage. in a normal hyperbloom team all she does is apply hydro and enable lunar charge

Don't expect a lot of damage out of Kachina, however you build her. She has very low multipliers and standard ICD, so you won't do much talent damage *or* Lunar-Crystallize damage. It should be enough for overworld, but I wouldn't expect to 36-star with this.

I'd suggest swapping out Geo Traveler and putting in... probably Xingqiu or Yelan. Your current plan runs triple Geo, meaning Xilonen goes into DPS mode instead of support mode. She can't shred resistances in DPS mode. (Can't heal, either.)

As for artifact sets, Codex should do better than Husk. 40% CR is a lot, and it actually helps your Lunar-Crystallize damage. None of the Husk effects do anything for Lunar-Crystallize.

I built dps Kachina before. It's pretty bad. Xilonen here would also be in dps mode, which also outperforms Kachina with just her normal attacks. C4 Kachina also buffs Xilonen's damage.

In some scenarios, feeding Bennett's skill from the pyro dps and into him doing his skill to later come back and do his burst might also help here. So something like Mav skill, Bennett skill, Xilonen skill n2, Furina skill dash burst, Bennett burst, Mav burst might be beneficial in helping feed Bennett the pyro particles and getting the pyro aura for Xilonen.

If you use Lan Yan often, her C2 is big upgrade for her shield. Other than that, getting Gaming closer to C6 is your best option imo. Yanfei also makes farming Liyue specialties easier if you don't have Qiqi.

for Furina, you just want someone on the team to cause healing and/or losing health, which Furina does (you never want Furina to do the healing, unless its a c6)
self heal/drain like Neuvillette counts
and with a c1+ Furina, capping fanfare is easy
and with Furina's passive, if Neuvillette would overheal when at full HP, you get a bit of teamwide healing too from Furina passive

Furina's burst counts when each of your teammates gains or loses hp. She then turns that percentage gain or lost into damage/healing bonus for the rest of the team. Furina's skill deals damage and drains your teammates hp down to 50%. Neuv's charged attacks drain him of hp and absorbing the sourcewater drops from his skill/burst heals him back up. So his changing in hp generates points that leads to higher total damage% for the team. Additionally, if Neuv overheals (heals a bit beyond full) then one of Furina's passives will slightly heal the rest of the team to help keep her passives up.

If a character's HP goes up or down 1% of their max, that's 1 fanfare. Furina's c2 increases that by 250% to 3.5 fanfare instead. Fanfare grants teamwide 0.31 dmg% per point at Q talent 13, up to 124 dmg% at the cap of 400 fanfare.

With Furina's c2, Neuvillette's self heal (48% max hp per 3 droplets) and self hp drain (~40% max hp per full CA) help to rapidly cap out fanfare, so no healer required.

You would be at like 60/180 which is a bit low on crit rate. It will be doable, but you would eventually want to get a bit higher as you continue to farm. You are currently around 170 cv which is getting closer to what most people try to shoot for as long as you have enough recharge/hp subs

They are both within the 125-130 range depending on assumptions

For what is worth; I enjoy Varesa more; and I would never consider using Skirk for overworld exploring/adventuring... I got too used to the broken movement skills on Varesa, Mavuika and Xilonen... XD

Varesa is a little bit lower damage, and reliant on 4 star constellations.

What is your assumption for 4\*? If you are assuming C0R0 Iansan and Chevreuse, then Skirk by a landslide - Varesa is nowhere close the other meta teams if you have, say, a C5 Chevy and C4 Iansan - C6 Chevy and C6-C6 Iansan are huge for her DPS.

If you are assuming C6 Iansan and C6 Chevreuse, then still Skirk, but it is closer.

You mean the Nod Krai part? Assume around 3 hours per part; so let's say 24 hours. Some may be sigthly longer, so if you get distracted looking at scenery, need to re-read lines because weren't paying attention, or take it very slow, 30 hours tops I would say.

If you are a fast reader, focus, or even sometimes don't allow the voice acting to finish if you have read the text, maybe less than 20 hours.

I mean sure. Though unlikely given they can make a lot more money off of other characters. We're far more likely to see another Monstadt Chronicled Wish at some point. Though probably not soon.

Solve a puzzle on a beach around the volcano with a mechanical snake so it takes you there. Or indwell a saurian. Or use Furina or ice bridge with Kayea.

I'd say go for Columbina. You'll have until at least version 6.5 (aka Luna 6) to save up for her, since we have reliable leaks on the rerun characters for next update.

Raiden has been thoroughly powercrept as anything other than a hyperbloom trigger. If you want her because you like her as a character, by all means pick up a c0 if it makes you happy, but she's otherwise a tough sell nowadays.

You don't have to get Bina, but you'll need a second NK character, so either Aino or Illuga.

Weapon Banner guarantee is a 50/50 between both weapons in the banner... which is why we don't recommend ever going into a weapon banner unless you are willing to go 150+ wishes into it (and have them), as to not waste the Fate Point... If you always go for 70-ish wish and stop after getting a 5-star weapon, you could not get your desired weapon ever in a dozen different banners.

This being said... Both Columbina and Ineffa have very F2P friendly options for weapons; so I wouldn't recommend going for neither of their signatures; unless you are really simping a lot for them and/or investing a lot of them (the higher their CONs, the more valuable their weapons will be, since they will be doing a great % of the total team damage).

Generally Aubade Ineffa + SMS Bina + VV Sucrose.

If you on-field Ineffa a decent amount (maybe some infusion), then other options, like NoTSU Ineffa + SMS Columbina + VV Sucrose + older support sets, you can also do Aubade Columbina + SMS on older support (like Fischl can use it but then Ineffa on-field has no infusion).

nefer. those 3 are her strongest team and she will give you the potential to split it into 2 pretty good teamstoo.

zibai. she's focused on Lunar reactions but that is all upside its not like enemies will be immune to Lunar. she still just does good damage even if its a different color. there is a rumor she'll get a 5 star support too. I agree Neuvillette is geting power crept his best team is Lauma and Ineffa.

Lunar reaction damage is still good raw damage. So what if the lunar part becomes irrelevant later. There's gonna be some issue when all enemies have innate auras but I doubt they'll have enemies do that. Ultimately you are beholden to their greed, they can find ways to screw anyone like that, so best not think too much.

If you asking just meta/dps - it's Zibai easy pick.

Future regions will have own ways to make you pull new characters. Just like Natlan DPS like Kinich or Chasca can't do anything, even if they are stronger than Neuvillette. At this point I'm 100% sure that Snezhnaya will have own type of special shield with "break in time or get 1-shot", just like all other bosses in game.
Zibai looks also easy to play. Neuvillette is relax mode with huge AOE potential, too bad AOE is non-existent, otherwise old characters like Venti, Kazuha or even Tartaglia would be in top picks. Neuvillette pretty much need Ineffa to clear electrocharge content now, IMO It is possible with Furina, Fischl, Ororon on end of timer, but with HP increases it's his last days (same Fountain boss in 12-3 abyss went from 2M hit points to 3M - have fun when Cactus gets 50% HP extra next time).

Overall it's better now to save for batch of characters, like Mavuika, Xilonen, Citlali, or new Nod Krai pairs with Columbina. No point in pulling just 1 DPS and trying to make him work with bad team.

Xl prolly. Lanyan C2 is good but isn't make or break.

She can be a solid burst support for an onfield Neuvillette freeze team.

Personally I've of the opinion that you should build characters you pull for. Sounds like you don't care enough to build your characters though, but IMO of course the 5\* limited unit will be worth building. That all depends on your goals though, since if you already have 3 Stygian ready teams no one else is "worth" building unless IT is giving you trouble. Neuvilette simply needs to get buffed by the plethora of support characters out there whether they be Bina/Ineffa/Xilonen/Kazuha/Escoffier/Furina/Citlali and charge attack and win. C0 would prefer 3 other elements than hydro but Furina synergizes perfectly with his self healing kit.

As an aside, Dottore is likely not to come this patch as he doesn't have a playable character ID, so you can set aside your pulls at least for 7.x if you still want to hold out hope.

I mean yeah, you can put her with Neuvi+Furina if you want as a bit of extra damage, or just Furina+Charlotte or something. If you really don't intend to pull Escoffier, then she won't exactly be 'meta' but she can still do enough damage for casual content. Noting that Escoffier can also be helpful for Neuvi or Furina's damage, and that Dottore's boss fight had a lot of Hydro and Cryo attacks so maybe Esco will be in his best team too. (Just ignore the Electro lol)

At some point you have to decide if pulling a character you don't like is a better investment in someone you do like than pulling for their own cons/sig, and as long as you're happy with your choice, you do you.

She would like to use Yaoyao but I don't know how to break it to her that there's no way she could have her on a team that isn't horrible. However I fear all of her teams would be horrible regardless

Fischl + Sucrose is a great combo for lunar charged, but Ororon is great too and doesn't need Natlan teams to function. Still, you have higher cons on Fischl so that's where I'm leaning.

Columbina lunar bloom is only decent with Lauma tbh.

Another option you have is to pull Zibai in a couple days. She's great with Columbina as the only necessary 5 star on her team [you're looking to get at least c2 Illuga though].

I don't know how good lunar bloom is with out Lauma. you should test it, you would just use Nahida, with on field Columbina.

Lunar Bloom is meh without Lauma.

If you need moonsign (for wild hunt or Sigurd boss) Columbina (mornigstar), Aino (serenade or instructor), Fischl, Ororon can clear abyss.

Don't use Columbina with dendro, it's worthless. And don't try to play Clumbina hyperbloom. Nahida mark prevents lunar-charge completely and Columbina makes only 1 dendro core every skill hit.
For on-field play Columbina need Lauma, as 90% of her damage is from Pale Hymn. With Nahida your damage will be 7~9K.

You can play with geo dps with Furina. Noelle / Itto / Navia + Columbina + Furina + Xilonen

Depends on the sequence of skill hits, because all 3 of those supports hit exactly every 2 seconds with their skills.

* If you're hitting Hydro > Electro > Dendro, you should be fine. You'll trigger the required Lunar-Charged with the Electro and remove some Hydro, then Dendro will Bloom and remove the rest of the Hydro, then Hydro will be re-applied. Perfect Synergy.
* If you're hitting Dendro > Hydro > Electro, you're probably gonna get a Dendro aura on the enemy, Hydro won't remove all of it, and Electro will just Quicken. Adding more attacks on Bina can help remove the Dendro aura, but better if you don't get it in the first place.
* If you're hitting Hydro > Dendro > Electro, then yes, the Dendro will remove all Hydro and so Electro will do nothing. But as long as the next hit IS Hydro, then you're fine. If it's Dendro somehow, then you Quicken and it's back to the above.
* Sucrose's Anemo hits will also remove Hydro/Electro aura, so if you do 2 Swirls with EN1 or something between your Hydro and Electro hits, then you'll have removed the first one. Or if you Hydro > Electro > Anemo > Dendro, Anemo might remove the Hydro aura and then Dendro applies a Dendro aura.
* TLDR, as long as you use Bina first, and then Ineffa's skill hitting just after Bina's, you're most likely fine. If Lauma's skill ends up getting between those two, bad things can happen.

Apply Hydro to trigger blooms, use Lauma skill and burst, then on Nefer use her skill, then hold down charged attacks until she does her jump attack 3 times, then skill and 3 more charged attacks.

Ningguang does kind of work together with Geo Traveler or Noelle
but Xinqiu with Yanfei would probably be better

Get any of the other 5* lunar characters. Without them Columbina is wasted and is not an improvement for any team. Try and grab Ineffa as she and Columbina together forms a very strong core that can carry most teams.

If you want a main dps to go along with Columbina, Zibai is coming in a couple of days and her banner comes with Gorou and Illuga, both of whom she wants on her team.

The top meta teams right now are Mavuika premium and the three lunar teams - Flins, Nefer and Zibai. All three of them are very similar dps wise though you need Ineffa for Flins and Lauma for Nefer. Zibai wants C6 Illuga and C6 Gorou ideally.

the new region has a modifier for reactions. Lunar- Hydro+Geo, Electro, or Dendro. Columbina being Hydro can do all 3. for the story and exploring you can just use anyone who matches elements. But for end game She will really want another 5 star from nod-krai.

Lauma, Columbina - on-field charge attack Columbina
Nefer, Columbina - Nefer hyper carry, will want Lauma eventually.
Ineffa, Columbina - the most flexible, can use any on fielder they react with, pyro too not just lunar.
Flins, Columbina - Flins carry wants Ineffa eventually.
Zibai, Columbina - New Geo DPS next banner. all her favorite 4 stars are on the banner too.

You have Columbina so your next priority should be another moonsign unit. Choose a DPS [Flins, Nefer, Zibai] and their support [Ineffa for Flins, Lauma for Nefer. Zibai doesn't need any more 5 stars but you want as many cons on Illuga as possible]. All three of these teams are around the same DPS and only behind Mavuika, very much the meta right now. Zibai would probably be the easiest and most immediate team you could make right now.

Another thing you can do is grab Ineffa and, with Columbina and maybe Sucrose, you now have an incredibly powerful lunar core that can be used with a very wide variety of older DPS, such as Neuvillette or Arlecchino.

The only other notable new meta DPS is Skirk, who is currently behind the lunar trio but still incredibly powerful, known for brute forcing a ton of enemies that she shouldn't be able to beat. Her teams are pretty restrictive; she only functions in a freeze comp. Her #1 teammate is Escoffier, followed by Furina. Then, choose one of Shenhe, Yelan, Citlali, or C4 Mona.

Another thing is Hexerei buffs, which they gave to older Mondstadt characters to make them more relevant. They're not at the top, but even Venti, Razor, and Klee are actually decently strong now. You need two Hexerei characters in the team to make that format work, and the recently released Durin is probably the best support option out of the bunch. He's basically a 5 star Xiangling.

It gives him interruption resistance, so he doesn't get knocked out of his charge or hydro pump very easily. And it gives him one free stack of his passive, meaning it's no longer a trade-off to use a Hydro unit along with him for Hydro resonance, and just a net benefit. It's pretty good, especially paired with Furina who is otherwise the only Hydro good enough to be worth that trade-off, but depending on the situation it might also be a very minor DPS increase, and the IR doesn't matter if you still use a shielder with him.

About 7 hours in total for both acts. But there are plenty of opportunities to take a break, whenever you can walk around hit Esc and you can leave without losing progress, at least once an hour. There's also lots of auto-saves, with each loading screen, so you won't lose too much time even in the worst case.

If you've barely touched Natlan, then you might have enough there, but if it's like 80% already I doubt it. There's also some you can get from achievements, hangouts, gift sets, etc. But not 50 pulls worth.
