If they hadn’t finally started having traveler finally speak more in quests, it would’ve been hilarious for Moon Carver to become playable for EN players since it’d probably mean Zach Aguilar would’ve had more speaking lines as a side character than the actual protagonist of the game. Then again, the traveller’s speaking lines are still overall sparse so Moon Carver would probably still give him more voice lines than Aether.

Liyue designs are always very well thought out/unique. They rarely suffer from the whole "character looks like one thing, but story says something completely different/ you could not guess their job/character/anything about the character from their design". In other words, they tend to be well-designed, intentional and effective at showing, not telling.

The problem is that teal is my most hated color and 3/4 of those characters are basically teal. They each have their appealing elements, though. I wish Zibai was an actual horse girl, though.

The theme is consistent but I'm not happy with her design. Gameplay screams Geo Skirk which is good because Skirk is my favorite character but idk she looks odd. I don't see Istaroth in her at all and the colors are meh. Even the weapon looks boring compared to Jade cutter.

At first I thought I would change my mind because I didn't like Xianyun drip either before she grew on my in 4.4. But that was mostly because I assumed she would have the same attitude as the bird and her design matched that personality. Thank god it didn't and she turned out great.

I know people will hate me for it but if I had to choose one word to describe Zibai it would be "boring".
