Am I the only one who didn’t get help when I started playing the game?
When I started the game, I had Diluc, Yelan, and Bennett. I tried farming artifacts a lot, but it was really hard. Whenever I asked for help, I just got kicked out. I never received help from older players, I joined around Inazuma release.

Would be cool to recieve help. I used to make starter gear and stuff and give those to newbies back in FFXIV.
Probably woukd do that again in the next mmo I play.
I was a 1.0 player, even if I wanted help there was really no one that could
the good old physical Xiangling days hahahaha
Those exceptions being:
1. Events that require co-op
2. The first Stygian rotations to see if farming artifacts on Hard was faster solo or in co-op (solo won)
I have had exactly one friend ever ask me to help them with something. I don't generally let people into my world either.
Hasn't really impacted my experience negatively at all. This game isn't even close to the most complex gavha I've played and playing solo gives me a great sense of progression which is what I prefer.
There were other spots along the way that gave me trouble, but rather than ask for help I figured out how to overcome them, whether it be by using food (fighting Oceanid), getting higher levels and better equipment (Spiral Abyss lower floors), or getting more suitable characters (Xiangling for the fight on the frozen pond in Dragonspine).
I love this video and find it to be heartwarming, but it doesn't really match my personal experience.
The only time I've ever received help in this game was having someone on my friends list join to help me clear the combat challenge in front of the guyun stone forest domain.
I myself helped many people in Dragonspine after leveling up
first time i ever did co-op was in the Dragon spine event in 1.2 were we had to kill the Resurgent Cryo Regisvine for mats for the Festering Desire, very few were able to solo that thing, luckily i had built Bennett so i was rather popular lol
Might just login and give it another go.
Those were good days, I even joined a random world where we played hide n seek in liyue Harbour and just talked about life and stuff.
It's been a while since I played more coop like that, though I guess now I'm high level so I should join lower levels and repeat the cycle
I am yet to meet a toxic player in co-op. Players I have met are kind of helpful to the beginners. A lot of the mechanics I have learnt are because of them. Only thing it takes away from you is the experience of doing it solo.
