From the non C6 characters I use Yao Yao and Yun Jin, but idk who's the smartest choice.

yaoyaos c6 is a good burst to heal and dendro app. if you use her alot this might be the smartest decision.
yun jin c5 is kinda insignificant, though it brings you 1 con closer to c6
lan yans c1 is good for her personal damage, but the one you really want is her c2

C6 Gaming if you don't have plunge dps.
C2 Lanyan shield is as strong as Layla and almost as Zhongli, C6 Yaoyao is huge heal too (help me a lot in bloom team)

C6 gaming is very important and probably one of the most cracked constellations in the whole game, so unless you don't have any plans to play him whatsoever - it's a good investment.
