Human_Statement_2782026-01-30 15:43
Instructions unclear, jumped into primordial water at the same time.
Physical-Command21302026-01-30 15:58
well post fontaine the curse has been removed
Human_Statement_2782026-01-30 16:42
So this actually got me thinking... the "curse" was removed because the sovereign authority of hydro was used to remove the primordial water from within their blood, thus making them real humans.
Transitioning, Hillichurls are under the "curse of wilderness". Now, while not all hilli's are Khaenrhian, Chlothar revealed to us that only pure blood Khaenrhians were unaffected by the curse. So, perhaps there is some correlation between the "curses of blood" where the impurity leaves them malleable to god level influence.
Really I just dream of a day when the poor silly hilly billy churls are expunged of their eternal torture.
Physical-Command21302026-01-30 17:19
I don't think primordial water is removed since they are fully made up from primordial water, Since Hydro sovereign has power of life, he removed the curse/sin. He said in AQ.
Taro_Acedia2026-01-30 17:44
He transformed them from oceanid-humans into real humans, therefore clearing the curse.
Physical-Command21302026-01-30 19:15
umm actually he did both of that.
caramel90popcorn2026-01-31 02:56
Yeah they had primordial blood and he turned them into human blood instead
Human_Statement_2782026-01-30 21:53
For the curious, here is what Nervy said.
"But so long as those primordial energies remain within them, I could use the ancient dragons' authority to grant them true "blood," after the fashion in which life was first brought into being on this plant. In other words, when I gave my verdict, Fontainians became "true humans," and thus would naturally no longer be dissolved by water from he primordial sea."
Chucknasty_172026-01-30 23:38
This leads into a separate theory I had about the hilichurls. What if instead of being an arbitrary cursed from, if the hilichurls are natives to Teyvat, and the Heavenly Principles turned them into humans, and the curse of the wilderness is just them undoing that transformation
JustAnotherUser10192026-01-30 17:15
Can someone explain this to me?
Bussy_Wrecker2026-01-30 17:55
