I hate when characters in a relationship makes it their whole personality, imagine you had a friend who only ever talks about his gf I would get so fucking annoyed

It's probably just a result of the characters needing to be condensed in the little screen time they get. This also kinda happened with Kaveh in the recent Sumeru event like dawg... I love him but they really did just condense him into "'roommate' that argues with Alhaitham".

It would have been a lot better if beidou was hanging out with her crew around town, it would have been a lot of fun to see her relaxing and enjoying the celebrations with her crew, instead all she thinks about is ningguang
At least ningguang has her job to make her talk about other stuff instead of just talking about beidou all the time,
