Is there a point for me to play?
I've pulled all banners just for fun I guess. Never hoarded my wishes at all. Now that I look at my characters though I can see that I've got no Nod-Krai characters. With meta declining in use of any characters but current banner-holders I can't seem to find a reason to continue playing this game. The story ain't much, Nod-Krai has zero exploration reward, just a flat rock with chests randomly scattered around, meta relies on Lunar reactions (couldn't even get Columbina, got Qiqi instead bruh). Anyone else feel like genshin has gone to shit since, maybe, Sumeru? Idk man

Also, unless you're playing Stygian Onslaught on Fearless or Dire, you don't need to worry about the Lunar characters *at all*.
Then just quit at that point.
Lunar reactions are not like that unfortunately and the meta has gone pretty annoying with shilling and powercreep.
If you're looking for a gacha that doesn't have this stuff, then you just simply shouldn't be playing gacha games. It is how it is. Better just play normal single player JRPGS, there are plenty amazing ones out there.
There is also the option to just play every few months. Enjoy the exploration/story updates, quit the game for some time and return some time later once there are some new areas to explore or new stories to play.
In the first place, why even care about meta? I personally love the combat system that I cannot find in any other RPGs I played and that made me invested. If you don't feel that way, just ignore the meta and play normally. Abyss 11 is still easily doable for any of the usually "low tier dps", Stygian Primo rewards take no more than 5 minutes sitting in coop. Theater is a bit hard to judge, gotta admit.
Other than that, 99% of the remaining game is just play who you want, meta and powercreep are completely irrelevant here. So just ignore meta and have fun.
Sounds like you’re no longer enjoying the game, so I suggest you try quitting. Don’t play a game if you aren’t having fun.
because personally, I'm enjoying the game so.. yeaa
don't force yourself to play a game you don't enjoy
I took a long break between middle of Sumeru and Fontain, came back and enjoyed the game more than ever.
And Sumeru, really???? It's literally where the story picked up after the rather controversial Inazuma AQ, and its continued upwards since then.
