Assuming you're preference is Ayaka, target her and her supports you have. Personally, I working towards this goal. Assuming you have 3 Stella Fortuna left for the Luna cycle:

Pick [Klee](https://gamewith.net/genshin-impact/article/show/22348#wish) if you want to broaden your lineup or like her playstyle. Although I would avoid standard banner characters, [Jean's](https://gamewith.net/genshin-impact/article/show/22356#wish) C4 is nice to have.
I assume (hope) Stella Fortuna will reset for the next major Version in Snezhnaya (September 2026). You can get Shenhe's C2 then or work towards Ayaka C6. I also think Fontaine characters will be added.

How does C1 kokomi help Ayaka? Are you spending field time on her? I assumed kokomi would just be a skill bot in that team

Ahh, your're right. For Ayaka freeze teams, it is not as needed. Kokomi's C1 is more useful if she is played onfield more.

Thank you! I love both Ayaka and Klee, and I have mained both in the past. However, I've been struggling to get through some game content, and I'd rather invest based on the dmg increase the constellation would bring. Do you think C4 Ayaka or C1 Klee is a bigger increase in damage?

Why not do both? You'll get a Stella Fortuna every two patches (12 weeks).
From what I found:
**Klee C1** summons sparks that deal 120% of her normal Sparks 'n' Splash burst damage. This leads to an overall damage increase of roughly **18-25%**.
**Ayaka C4** provides a higher damage increase than C3 by applying a 30% DEF reduction to enemies for 6 seconds, which acts as an **17-18%** overall damage boost to both her burst and team DPS.
