Cos I used xiunqui before for hydro resonance (and he was more or less built) but I wanna run silken moon on sumo and aubade on ineffa so would aino be good here?

No, Aino lowers Neuvillette's damage by being a second Hydro that hinders his A1. This would be better even with Kachina on Scroll. The only two hydro characters that work with Neuvillette are Furina and Columbina. And the second one only in case you also have Ineffa and Lauma.

For one, Xingqiu is also Hydro. Second he will quite literally not function. Neuvillette does not use Normal Attacks. You probably could not find a worse hero to put in his team.

Unless your Neuvi is C1 you are better off using another element instead of Aino to maximize his passive. Only Furina brings enough personal damage to make up for it (and Columbina with Ineffa I guess), hydro resonnance is not enough.
Aino does zero damage on top of taking away one of his stacks. You are running a 3 characters team, effectively. Unfortunately this means no moonsign for Ineffa, unless you can eventually get Jahoda to replace Kazuha.

No. Same reason you don't use another hydro. Use geo, cryo, pyro, or a dendro with slow application rate (not Nahida or Lauma).

Neuvillette wants 3 *different* elements alongside him, because he needs to trigger 3 *different* hydro-based reactions to maximize his passive talent.
Replacing Aino with Fischl or Raiden is even worse, because Ineffa is already here so you don't fix the passive issue but you lose hydro resonnance. And Ineffa is actually good in this team, you don't really want to replace her.
You need a pyro/cryo/dendro/geo unit to replace Aino. Or Columbina/Furina. Xiangling and Kachina are viable free options.

Neuvi wants multiple different hydro reactions, to be clear. You should hit Neuvi E then cycle through your supports then do Neuvi charged.
