Who do I choose for lantern rite Xingqiu or Yaoyao?

I'm new with genshin and team comps is not my forte. I have tighnari as my main dps and when I look it up yaoyao is good with tighnari as well with xingqiu because of hyperbloom. Now I'm torn between the two on who do I choose. Please help🥹

Yaoyao is good for tighnari because she can heal and also holds deep wood.

Xingqiu doesn’t synergize with tighnari because you need to normal attack to proc his rain swords and tighnari primarily does damage through charged attacks. However xingqiu is an incredibly flexible unit with amazing hydro application that you can build many teams around.

As a new player I wouldn’t worry about who is best and just get whoever you like the most, but for account value xingqiu is better imo.

Both are good 4 stars but if you’re between these two then I would choose YaoYao as you can save your starglitter and buy Xingqiu from Paimon’s shop in March.

Both are great! However, Yaoyao is already usable at C0 and takes low investment to get going. Xingqui needs investment (gear, cons, artifacts) to be usable but remains an indispensable 4\* long term.

Yaoyao at C0 is already a great healer and decent dendro applier. So with a 3\* weapon and 'junk' HP deepwood pieces with no ER, she already does most of what is asked of her. She does eventually get benched in favor of stronger healers or buffers like Baizhu or Nahida

Xingqui , on the other hand, feels underwhelming before certain key investments. I personally didn't start playing him until at least C2 and enough energy recharge (200+) to get him to burst. But I really started using him when I finally got my first R5 Sacrificial Sword. He is a staple choice in the hardest endgame content I can go after with my strongest teams such as Clorinde Lunar Charge, Skirk freeze and Arlecchino vaporize.

If someone like Tighnari is your main dps, then you are likely far off from caring about endgame content, which means that the best thing to do would be to take whoever you like the most, but if you want the overall stronger unit, Xingqiu is definitely it.

His overall pull value as a 4* for any account is second only to Bennett due to obvious reasons.

One thing to remember is Xingqiu has a talent craft refund talent, if you don't have others with similar talents. Of course, if you can't stand his little boy bluey tighties mismatched with his aristocratic sleeves, I fully understand

I'm choosing Lan Yan because only she and Chongyun are not at C6 but Chongyun is C4 and Lan Yan is only at C1.
