Noelle's primary 2 problems are her inability to control her strength and lack of teamwork/wanting to do everything herself.
In a proper battle scenario, such attitudes absolutely CAN get fellow knights killed or at least severely maimed so they are kinda right to not make her a knight until she ironed out those flaws.

I'd say her issue would be that dual-wielding requires you to either be ambidextrous, or use different weapons - one for offense, one for defense or utility. Otherwise you're better off using either a two-handed weapon or a one-handed + shield, and we know what Noelle does when the weapon's too small, weak or light.

Varka is the scary type of boss... The one who knows what he has and how to use it does not do his work until everything goes sideways and just steps to save the day and leaves to nap in his office again...
I say this out of experience... Because I remember when my boss gave the literal codes for everything and his keys and told me "gonna be unpacking stuff from 5 years ago and burn wtvr we cannot get money off so only call me if the paramedics or firemen get here" yeah he didn't care about police because another employee was assigned to handle that lol.
Also the amazing part was that he had our break room with random amenities... Literally he put a beyblade stadium and 8 beyblades for our own use...
Hate him, love him... And God dammit he scared the crap out of everyone every time we went into the storage room, he will wear random glow in the dark stuff... You will doubt he was a trained first responder with how many screams were hear randomly thru the day and not because someone was getting a smexy time but because random glow in the dark boss pop behind 6 boxes of 2014 demo products. (Also the day he quit was because he didn't want to go higher in position and went full scorch earth lol approving vacation time and expenses to cripple the HQ)
