Monthly reminder that we should be able to share our Characters more than 15 times.

Imaginarium Theater reset is coming up again.

I've got over 100 friends, and only the first 15 will get a chance to borrow any of my characters.

It's such a small thing, but would make a difference for those who are struggling with Imaginarium Theater and happen to have a Whale friend.

my whale friend has his 15 redemptions used up within an hour of the server resetting on the 1st of the month. That is before he can even update his available characters for the new element restrictions. So people are just locking in the one or two characters still eligible from the previous month and not the character they actually want.

I always update my list a day or two in advance, but all of my shares also get used up quickly. Half of them are gone within minutes of the server reset.

I have to login during IT reset just so that I can choose the best option from my whale friends' accounts

They all almost always run out in a few hours and I have like 6 whale friends with different characters C6ed (some common characters C6ed as well).

Once you choose the character, start IT and pause/leave/exit, your choice of invited character remains fixed unless you want to change it

I had no idea. My friends list is empty. I have never shared a character nor have I borrowed one. I have fully cleared every cycle so far on the highest difficulty (though I don't actually enjoy it).

I don't think I would want to use someone else's character. I wouldn't know how to even use them, I wouldn't be set up to support them, and I wouldn't necessarily trust the build some rando gave it, either.

Is this really something most people are doing every month?

As a relatively new player with usually barely enough characters to even start, I'm almost always saved by a certain C6 Arclecchino who can solo any stage. That's basically -2 stages that I need to worry about

yes- im usually borrowing the few characters i have that i dont want, or the most useful one like a c3 mavuika. makes everything easier, i dont borrow characters i have 0 idea how to use

I do a LOT of co-op domains, and will carry people through Menacing and Fearless on Stygian. I probably get 50 friend requests a month.

You can coop fearless, it just doesn't give you fearless rewards. But it has some fun value.

With the right people, we've even done Dire in coop.

personally, i've always thought that the game would only have to gain if they allowed us to redeem rewards from higher difficulties in coop.

It would literally skyrocket the community interactions.

If you have friends you want to play with, it's good content to challenge

You can even try out first hand how your dps' would work better if you had more cons on supports or vice versa

I KNOW. I don't have a lot of people friended but istg sometimes I'm bored and I wanna join someone to do bp or spend resin and nobodys online, or only 3-4 people half of which have coop turned off and the other half declining

Sorry I'm new to this. How do you share characters or "borrow" them? Does it happen automatically or do you have to click something? Sorry for the dumb question, genuinely curious since it's my 1st time hearing about this feature

I'm Imaginarium Theater, you can select one Character from your friend's Supporting Cast. You only get to pick one character from one friend, and they can a maximum of 15 shares.

You don't gain anything from lending characters out...

Let's say someone is F2P and they have 20 friends. 19 are also F2P and 1 is a Whale. By the time they play, their Whale friend has all of their shares used, so they have to borrow from another F2P.

Nah it's fine. The borrowed character is only for 2 rooms. And the borrowed character doesn't need to be whaled out to be helpful. Just getting a C0R0 character you don't have is usually enough to be the difference maker. And there's no shortage of F2P/Dolphin who have C2R1. So your characters are in no way needed. There's a plethora of others to borrow from.

At most, we should be able to borrow something like 3 characters from 3 different players. That would actually be helpful both for power to clear more floors and hitting the required needed number of characters and encourage a bit of community and increase the likelihood everyone's characters getting selected to help out others (feels good to be helpful).
