something i noticed

I was looking into demonology for my own writing and research and realised that the four shining shades share names with demons from the lesser key of solomon just like the archons.

Ronove-Ronova. Ronove is said to have taken the souls of the elderly and animals about to die

Naberius-Naberius/Rhinedottir. Naberius teaches the art of gracious living and makes people cunning in arts and sciences, also nicknamed as Cerberus (might be a reference to the fact Naberius is two people now like how Cerberus has 3 heads)

Astaroth-Istaroth. Astaroth is theorized to have been an archdemon, representing one of the sevent deadly sins. (couldnt find his explicit duties)

Asmoday-Asmoday. Asmoday or Asmodeus is considered a demon of lust and represents the sin of lust. I don't know how this relates to Asmoday in genshin

I didn't go too in depth about this because I hope this could spark some kind of discussion and mostly because I wanna get back to watching tv

Yeah I'm pretty sure every god (except Columbina) in this game is named after one of the demons in Ars Goetia. Even Gouba with his demon name being Marchosius. It's why Paimon being named that is very interesting with its implications.

That’s a good point about Columbina is her lack of demon name. I guess technically neither do the other moon goddesses. Maybe because they weren’t creations of the Heavenly Principles?

Yes, that's probably it. All the gods with demon names seem to be connected to the Heavenly Principles and Celestia. Perhaps they are the candidates for being an Archon, a system and title that Celestia created. Since Columbina's authority predates HP she doesn't have one.
