DPS comparison across Genshin's history
[original video](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1Jz6BBrEGK/)
cn speedrunners and whales came together to create a dps comparison of the top c6r5 teams of their era. weapons and artifacts used are limited to their specific era (eg. no mh for hu tao). it's interesting to see that while everything pre sumeru was around the same dps standards, fontaine had a clear trend of dps increase, then natlan blew everything out of the water, and now nefer as well.

Cool but I’d rather see something realistic for 99% of the userbase
it doesnt, i support people making their own decisions and enourage people to do what makes them happy, splurging money is part of life. but not when they try to normalize said weird behaviour like everyone should normalize bad lifestyle decisions, i wouldnt have said that if you hadn't made that stupid ass statement.

It's my fault you make snide remarks? Sounds......
despite being on a gacha sub we are not normalizing gambling on video game gachas to such a degree, if it makes you happy more power to you, enjoy.
There were no standards, 5\* constellations were mostly dogwater until they realized how to make good constellations around Fontaine.
How much else is wrong?
Edit(1): even if conditions cut her DMG by 95%, she's still trouncing fearless.
Isn't that just the perspective of the graph. Just looking at the Hu tao and Childe team, Childe team is doing double the dps. And then Ayaka is doing more than 50% more dps than that. We're just so zoomed out that the difference looks smaller than it is.
This is what I was talking about. You can't exactly say that they have the "same dps standard" when one team does more than double the damage of another lol.
Of course the dps numbers have increased since then but it wasn't exactly "balanced" or whatever back then either.
Also, the graph is superficially "flattened" by incuding a bunch of teams that do nothing to increase the ceiling. The x-axis should be linear in time/version# and really only data points that increase the ceiling matter.
It's been hovering at x200% per Year since Wrio.
