Why prime numbers are common in Teyvat?
Why is appearance of prime numbers common in genshin. I have been thinking from past few days.
1. 1 Dragon King
2. 3 moon godesses
3. 5 (HP +shades) Principles
4. 7 Archons/ sovereigns.
5. 11 Fatui Harbingers
6. 13 Dragon Lords of natlan.
These occur in prime numbers.
And then lantern rite event for luna 4 started with >! Zibai counting prime numbers!<.
Any lore reasons for this?

A 3 legged chair is balance.
5 Princples 1 is the leader 4 followers
Normally the odd 1 out holds a post or key in which the rest balance/follow/depends upon.
4 descenders
4 shades, counting HP with them is a stretch you did for this, probably because you forgot the 5 sinners.
6 heroes in Natlan
For heroes of natlan..would you consider tenoch/traveller as hero too?..that makes it 7 heroes and pyro archon...
It gets a bit confusing because the group of 6 doesn't have a more distinct name. Citlali can be called a hero of Natlan, just like the Traveler, but she's not one of the 6 heroes, just like the Traveler.
And you can find that principle applied everywhere:
in theater/movies/plays etc. where they’re usually written in three parts setup - confrontation - resolution or incident - midpoint - climax.
It’s in photography and videography as the rule of thirds.
A basic design rule to use an odd amount of elements that can be found in graphic design and architecture / interior design.
Once you start looking you’ll notice it everywhere :) also on the contrary: things that are supposed to look complete or make us feel more at ease are usually in even numbers.
With a world as big as Genshin you will naturally find things in "groups." And those groups tend to be smaller numbers which are naturally, Prime Numbers.
There are plenty of 4's like the 4 shades, the 4 Winds, the 4 in the Raiden Nightmare teaser.
6's like the 6 Natlan Tribes or 8's like the 8 Adepts yet they are conveniently missing from your list cause of human bias. If you naturally remove the ones that don't fit, obviously it will seem like its intentional.
2 Travelers, 2 weekly bosses per land
3 Realms, 3 moon goddesses, 3 talent books per land
4 Descenders, 4 Shades
5 Artefacts, 5 Sinners, 5 weapon types
6 tribes/heroes of Natlan, 6 islands of Inazuma, 6 Darshans
7 Pillars of Deshret, 7 archons, 7 sovereigns, 7 witches, 7 Qixing, 7 elements
8 Adepts of Liyue
9 Confirmed lands (the familiar 7 plus Khaenri'ah as seen in Travail, plus now obviously Nod-Krai), 9 Pillars of Peace
10-pulls of wishes
11 Fatui Harbingers
12 Floors of Spiral Abyss
4 winds
5 yakshas
22 lunar arcana
corps of 30
500 years
33,550,337 cycles
Our pattern seeking brains really want to find a pattern when in actuality it’s just a normal occurrence.
Prime numbers in numerology are “powerful”, “lucky”, “individualistic”, “indivisible” (literally), and are often associated with important things **because** of this, not the other way around.
Like, between 2 (1 isn't prime, btw) and 13, half of all of the numbers are prime, and the lower you go, the higher the ratio gets.
You don't even get a choice of a composite number until you hit 4, and there's often just not any reason to make up 4 or more of something.
