Social media and social games unfortunately can have a negative effect on anyone, regardless of age. We live in a world now where people would rather shame others or troll them just because, and it’s inhumane. This creates a serially dangerous “loneliness” that can lead to the unthinkable. Truly wishing that people would learn to talk, listen, be empathetic, encourage, and uplift one another.

For me, it is the opposite. I’m in my early 20s now and I have more friends than before. Even though I’m leaving them again for a while I know I’ll always be able to reconnect with them. I already did that once.
In high school I never had any real friends so them all going off into their studies didn’t affect me. It took a few years but I did find a place for me. I suggest going out for your hobbies and meeting people there. I suggest going to diy music venues if that your thing because that made a big difference for me.
Life always gonna involve people coming and going.
