I want to reset my account, but I don't want to lose my hard work and purchases.

Is there a way to reset my account storyline, and character levels etc. Without resetting all my items, my purchases, characters and constellations?

My friends want to do a coop fresh start together but we dont want to lose things we spent a long time gathering or the characters and resources we spent real money to pull and such.

Is this possible and if not, what is the closest that we can come to doing this in an account reset?

Also a Coop start doesn't really work. Only the host gets to open chest, the other have to redo everything in their own worlds anyway

Multiplayer in Genshin is very rudimentary. Almost as if it was an afterthought slapped on at last minute to just be another bullet point on the feature list.

making a profile on a different server is the closest to a reset without deleting everything, but nothing actually carries over

Account reset is impossible. The closest option is just making an alt account.

But honestly, if you just want to co-op with your friends while they start fresh, you don’t need to reset your account. Your progress won’t affect the host’s world.

You can make an account on a different server. You will still have the old account as well.

Genshin is not a good coop game. You can play together for some things but a lot of explanation and quests only works on one players account.

Just use underleveled characters in host world. You cannot open chest and progress in other worlds, so at most you can accompany someone new using not leveled units
