returning player, anything i should know or do?
Furthest i got was the first archon quest of fontaine, the game kinda feels overwhelming due to how much different stuff there is. any idea on how i can tackle stuff. And more importantly is there anything new that's super important.
I am kinda bummed out i can't get the free hu tao con from the event cuz its too late but oh well:(

Its not exactly complicated
that's it.
1. There’s a new world level now. if you’re ar 58+, ascending will give you more material for overworld bosses. It’s a bit harder though, I had to break out zhongli for bosses. If you’re struggling at current levels, just ascend to farm character level up materials. It doesn’t affect domains.
2. The current banner; ineffa + Columbina appears to be quite strong, so if you like either, pulling both will help a lot with new material. My previous teams; Nahida hyperbloom and raiden national both stopped working, so I needed more characters for the abyss.
3. Daily exploration and many other things count for commissions now + doing that and spending 120 resin a day seems important for cons of limited time characters ( I’m not sure how to claim them and if I can control which characters show up as candidates).
4. Condensed resin is now 60 resin.
5. Completing the newest archon quest within 30 days will give you 500 primos so I’d focus on getting through the archon quests before world quests if you want the primos.
6. Milistria wonderland is a playground for alternate game modes, I think it only gives you cosmetics. I didn’t play this much.
7. Theres a new game mode called Stygian onslaught that gives you bonus artifacts up to 1200 resin spent. You can play on hard mode and clear faster than artifact domains. It’s only available for some time once the new Stygian is launched so I think you’ve missed it for this round.
8. You can see the potential 4th substat on artifacts now. There are also feathers that will let you reroll bad substats (I think).
9.Reminders for old things I had to remember: fragile resin from teapot weekly; buy 5 pulls from shop monthly; you need to go back to Katherine after completing commissions (which got really hard bc it feels like you finish commissions by breathing nowadays) so I forget to claim often; finish spiral abyss for primos
10. You can claim 2x rewards for one run of a domain now.
