Wait you joke, but I have this actual headcannon that most people in Natlan stink lol. There's really never any reference around their cleanliness habits, there's no bath houses or running water, etc. The people of the Springs are really the only one associated with any water. But because every tribe is constantly just surrounded and working with Saurians (whom I assume don't smell great, as animals) the people would just be constantly stink along with them.

Yep, the player character even looks at interactable stuff like collectable flowers/etc. It's one of those things you don't usually notice consciously, but it really adds a lot to the natural feel of it all.

Yeah just to add onto your point in Ghost of Yotei Atsu looks towards the closest enemy that has aggro on her. She will even turn her entire body to face then, pretty useful to save HUD space from having a lock on and prevents them from taking camera control from you.
