Current map of Genshin Impact as of version 6.4
This does not include hidden maps within Teyvat. Anyways, I tried to google Genshin Impact's current map because I was curious, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I created this map from Photoshop by combining different pictures. Posted here for other curious minds.

I do miss how the pre-natlan map looked, though. Now they just dgaf about any of it making any semblance of sense :/
The gaps are filled but they have no chests or other rewards.
Surely there's land beyond the horizon.
Nod Krai feels very very removed at this point. From someone who loves exploring.. this new way is kinda lame. I really enjoyed being able to make it everywhere without teleports. Even with Inazuma we could take a boat. Nod Krai wishes
Rather than follow the shipping route from Sumeru to Fontaine, we go through the desert and then swim/waverider across to the port.
Natlan is a special case due to the air of isolation around it, but even there it's clear from subsequent events that the natural way to get there is via the sea (presumably going around the south of Sumeru). Instead we cross the desert and go through a jarring change in landscape.
Then you have Nod Krai, seemingly bustling with trade but also geographically pushed out from everywhere else. Whilst we do at least go by boat, we don't see where it departs from, nor are we given any indication it's an in-universe transit corridor instead of yet another traveller only route cutoff from how people actually travel through Teyvat.
i actually believe this is true because we know the people from Tenochsitoc (Vanessa's tribe) went to Mondstadt after their exile, thats a LONG way if they cross through Natlan-Sumeru-Liyue then into Mondstadt, but it would be a single boat ride from Nod Krai to Dornman port.
there is also the new quest in Amsvartnir where we find out >!Boreas was there with the first angel and then left to go to Mondstadt!< , it just feels like Natlan/Nod Krai are way too connected to Mondstadt for this to not be the case.
Half a planet's worth of ocean that is, aka the [Dark Sea](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Dark_Sea). Don't believe people really cross that much, if at all.
Think it's more likely for there to be a sea route around Fountaine, maybe to the north given all those waterfalls in the south. Failing that, the land route through Snezhnaya should be quite a bit shorter than going through Sumeru given it's latitude.
For Boreas specifically there's of course the question how a bunch of wolves made it off an island, regardless of which route they took. Maybe he used his frost powers and did a Kaeya
Hmmm well for my theory to be true then dark sea has to not be around the "domain of the seven", mayb like how enkanomiya is under watatsumi and Khaenri'ah is underground.
Otherwise i guess Natlantians and Nod Kraians just went on JOURNEYS to reach Mondstadt, its probably through a waterway via Petrichor into Chenyu veil then into Mondstadt.

But excluding that, I do like the sense of scaling in that video since it does leave room for the GAA map to exist
And they mentioned the road to Snezhnaya is north of Dottore's lab so we're about to wrap around it too.
Then naturally Dornman Port, the Dandelion Sea and whatever MHY might make out of the Black Castle area out of early concepts, as 6.4 sadly still isnt Dornman Port, it will come first with 6.5, which annoys me alot, that MHY is most likely again because of MW wastign alot of time, that should went into world building instead
Then theres missing still Mount Esus to the west of Fontaine tio close that huge gap now between Nod Krai and Fontaine
then the large missing chunks of Sumerus Dessert still missing and partwise also natlan's north, so that there coudl be at least some potential to make natlan signficantly bigger, but it most likely will cheapishly end uop likel in just more empty unexplorable sea water just as i know MHY.
In 7.x we can't expect much for that to happen, because most of 7.x will be used to add Snezhnaya logically, where Nod Krai was supposed to be the year, where loose ends, like still not explorable areas shoudl have been addressed more.. and we we stil lare one Nod Krai map missing to get the Statue to R10, so one of the missign patches up to 6.8 will cover that, which will be either 6.6, or 7 likely, probasbly the patch that brings back Sandrone.. so not much time/patches left to use that to expand the map alot with long overdue missign areas to explore, which woudl have been there, if MHY woudlnt have wasted like 3 patches with MW content and woudl have postponed that stuff for later instead
I can only imagien myself, how much more Teyvat would have progressed by now, if MHY wouldnt have wasted so much time and ressources with MW, how the world map woudl look instead by now then and they woudl have added MW first somewhen past 7.0, once Snezhnaya woudl have been completely done first and we move on to Genshin Impact II as an eventually new game, where MW woudl have been part of it then there, but it seems money greedy MHY couldnt wait so long to add that new source of money income from milking all the whales with skins and content creators with buyable asset packs and what not all to raise their MW levels
I'm pretty sure, we would have had by then now like 2-3 maps easily more already covered, if MHY would have focused themself more on puttign pressure onto the world buildign aspect, for which most of all players play MAINLY the game for since day one ...and not for a cheap Roblox/Infinity Nikki Clone 2.0, that is totally out of touch with the real game and doesn't use anythign of its features and assets to actually improve with them the real game too, you nkow, something that actually smart developers would do in order to make MW as game content feel more rewarding, interesting and integrated into the actual real game, because of the stuff you can get from it, becoming useful also for other aspects of the game.. like housing..like improved general UI's and mechanics for Coop ect.
Like they wanted you to go thru the tunnel in Sumeru so you can see Fontaine in a more grand style. Coming out from a cramped tunnel to see the massive waterfalls.
The holes are where the lands connect because the world is a globe and when the whole map releases we’d have to spin a globe to navigate the map
Before Fontaine, the map looks like an upside down penis. The desert are the shaft and balls while liyue to mondstadt is the length.
I wouldn't mind 1 patch where they just add different territories everywhere to fill the wholes so it finally makes sense. They can have a bit of exploration, maybe small quest if size allows. Can be something like "midlands patch" and gosh those annoying holes would go away
