Don’t you love when they give you the whole team when you can only select one

Ok apart from the above screenshot, I really appreciated that there was only one Geo boss bc I was already about to cry when I saw it among the elements. Instead I didnt even use Zhongli and had one Flins use left as well! I upgraded the vape blessing at the beginning to max and it basically carried me anywhere. Of course, with pyro and hydro it should be expected, we’ll definitely have to worry in case we get an electro, cryo and geo IT.

Also super happy I got the Death Arcana I wanted so much ^^

Usually two units that synergize very well are more than enough for the bosses, the arcana challenges I admit that I often need to save at least 3 good ones otherwise it’s too tight and difficult to get the star.

Rest of the challenges it’s sometimes more challenging to find the “trashies” to fill the gaps and avoid wasting the good ones lol

They weren't too outrageous, but I used Arlecchino/Yelan for the first one and then Mavuika/Xilonen/Bennett/Colombina for the second one bc I realized too late that my I didn't swap my Mavuika weapon, so she had the physical dragonspine one instead of the wolf gravestone 💀

Yea the very first stages can be done with one good unit even. Normal stages r like 2 good units, some bosses maybe need 3. Arcana challenges r usually 3 yea.

Honestly in this IT I was so careful with saving units that at the end (I do the arcana challenges last right before boss 10) that the last fights were too easy (the elements in this IT r pretty good). I forced myself to do multiple attempts with bad teams on earlier stages and then the arcana stages and final boss I just sweep thru with extra time first try with teams strong enough to clear diff 5 SO bosses maybe (well the easier bosses at least).

Ya I was a bit too stingy at the start, and I made myself suffer trying to clear early stages with trial yoimiya/gaming/barb/yunjin.

Towards the end I still had like a free mavuika, arle life left to go, and I haven't even touched my nefer, lauma yet.

Literally the team I used for the first stage. 2nd stage was too difficult and had to replace barb with yelan.

Yoi and Yunjin basically do nothing on the team aside for Yoi breaking abyss mage and lawachurl cryo shield. Everything else was just Gaming vape except barbra having bad uptime and not that much off field app made it hard to pull off. Every stage other than act 10 and lunar challenges always had at least 1 useless character that does nothing for the team (tho all my useless lvl 70, lvl1 talents characters always have fav at least so they aren't actually 100% useless, free energy at least). In the end I didn't even touch the lvl 100 C6 Mav I borrowed.

Ya that kinda sounds like my experience.

I basically alternated between yoi + yunjin and barbara + gaming.

Gaming was barely missing energy to burst every cycle, Barbara has horrible uptime. I fking learned how to do gaming juggling since I was in there for so long TT

Honestly I never normally play Gaming. I leveled him and his talents and that mailed flower event claymore for him bc ppl said he was good and I had C6 but I don't rlly like his gameplay and I have skill issue so I never play him outside of IT. His artifacts are just random MH peices that I already owned from all my time spent farming for Neuvi. And when I do play him in IT I just unga bunga spam skill and ult on CD and spam NA while I wait for the cooldowns (I couldn't learn juggling if I tried).

I was super lucky bc they gave me Ayato and Tartaglia at the beginning and I consider them "premium trashies", otherwise I always use the trial ones first bc they often suck ahahah. IT is almost always a suffer first so you can chill later.

I kept Ningguang for the last boss and then I obliterated it with Flins, Ineffa and Colombina. Yes it was basically a full team but since I had them all left might as well use them and make my life super easy.

When it comes to Hydro and Pyro I have many strong DPS tho so that's why I didn't struggle too much, Mavuika, Arlecchino, Neuvillette/Furina, Flins, Nefer, I had a lot of choice for the bosses and I was very happy. The arcana challenges I could do them as soon as they were unlocked which is always nice.
Funny thing is that when I got Mavuika I also realized I hadn't changed her weapon (her and Eula swap the wolf gravestone) and basically I had a Mavuika with the physical dragonspine claymore.

Technically I have a lot of good Cryo DPS as well but if there's no Hydro, half of them literally lose value. Electro I have many as well actually but I consider someone like Clorinde a premium trashy. Some of the ITs made me really lose my mind, so I always thank whenever it's not too difficult

Same with mine. Like in the end I got Arlecchino, Mavuika, and Neuvilette. Also got Yelan, Furina, and Zhongli as 2nd supports. Basically breezed through the final boss.

The one geo boss has a "normal" shield, not an abyss shield.

I saved a Mavuika team for it, and it was mostly dead before the shield even broke.

I was at the point where I probably could have brute forced it with Arle (I have C3 due to insanely good luck on her banner) but I still had 1 energy left on Navia so I just played the mechanic. Geo is not hard required if you have heavy vertical investment in a strong carry from Fontaine or later.

Again, he was mostly dead before the shield even broke.

The shield is only a 70% damage reduction. Any meta team can just ignore the shield and burn the boss through it - which was my point.

Same! It’s the little moments like this that make the mini games so satisfying.I love seeing the whole team ready even if I can only pick one.It’s such a wholesome flex!
