What am I supposed to do here?

I get to this point in the lantern rite quest, and nothing happens. It just traps me in a domain with no clues as to what I'm supposed to do next. Is this a bug? Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what do I do to fix it?

Hmm, idk how to fix it but looks like a bug. There should be a wave of mist creeping towards you as your run.

I've heard you can fix it by turning off your internet until it teleports you and then you'll be in the right place. Or something like that.

Or maybe by logging in and out.
