Character Trailer - "Zibai: Mortal Flesh to Kindred Earth" | Genshin Impact
The Three Deadly Selves as specters come. In union born, in union quelled.
To hold a day as a passing year, illuminate the heart that was.

But the real sad thing is this amazing song playing, which we won't be able to hear fully without sound effects until next year when Snezhnaya drops.
Is she the only God that we known>!so far who went against HP plan on nuking an entire civilization in order to save as many of their people possible eventhough the outcome is still the same as other nation that got nuked.!<
Is she a capital "G" god like the Heavenly Principles? Nah. But she's still a god. The Goddess of Flowers was an angel and is still considered a god too.
The era of Lang Gan... Is quite some time before that...
once you get high enough in the power totem pole, you are a god because the little people label you as such
>!Otherwise, counting instances of Celestial Nails as such, known impacted areas other than the Chasm are an area below Natlan, Tsurumi Island (not visible), Dragonspine, and Sumeru's desert. The two in Natlan and Tsurumi Island haven't been elaborated on yet, but it is known that the one that struck Dragonspine was like in the Chasm during the Funerary Year. The Dragonspine Nail struck down Sal Vindagnyr, and as far as is known they had no gods protecting them in particular. The one that struck Sumeru's desert was purely in response to Deshret and Nabu Malikata letting the Abyss in, so needless to say they weren't exactly being *protective* of their people.!<
>!The thing about the civilization resets is that they were generally around the time of the Funerary Year. As stated in the event story, as a measure against Abyssal contamination spread around widely in that time. During the period after that the Heavenly Principles was seemingly merely licking their wounds until presumably they got a boost by using the corpse of the Third Descender, and soon after was when they held the Archon War. Next the only major Celestial action was against Khaenri'ah (which was a godless nation, and notice how yet again this was against the Abyss).!<
>!Meanwhile the bulk of the gods we've come across date back to around the time of the Archon War or later. One of these, Orobashi, is implied to have done the opposite even, and to have led his people against the Inazumans as a result of heavenly punishment.!<
>!But there are related cases. Remus, for instance, knew from the former Angel Sybilla that the Fate written by Celestia for his nation spelled out certain doom, and actively tried to break free of Fate to allow his nation to remain prospering. Sybilla helped him in this!<
The timeline is this
- Apep lush jungle is turned on a desert
- Deshret, Rukka and the Goddess of Flowers allies during the Archon War
- Deshret gets in love with the Goddess of Flowers, who uses him to try to free the humans from gods
- She shows Deshret the nail and it's secrets: it's a device to stop the Abyss, something that could hurt the HP (supposedly), they tinker with it and the nail explodes creating the tornado
- Goddess of Flowers dies, something she knew it would happen
- Deshret, fully baited, start meddling with the Abyss in the form of Forbidden Knowledge
it's definitely Yixuan
Did the trailer director rewatch Gladiator recently?
The only exceptions have been the Mavuika trailer ost releasing by itself that had her song in 4 different languages and Skirk's that had her own music video showing the singer performing
It was never broken except for first 2 regions.
Notice how Hoyo crafts the time-related lunar deities their character trailers that consistently recount their trapped predicament and foreshadow their imminent liberation.
It works well with the symbolism of a being split apart and frozen in time. Plus, y'know, the fact that Zibai is a horse.
CN teaser comment from magicalz2925 explains her status as a "daughter of Time":
"白驹过隙" "A white horse flashes past a crack," originating from Zhuangzi's "Knowing the North," states: "Life between heaven and earth is like a white horse flashing past a crack—it's over in an instant."
It means that a white horse (or sunlight) swiftly glides past a crack, disappearing in a flash. It is used to describe the extremely rapid passage of time, as if it slips through one's fingers in an instant, often evoking a sense of the fleeting nature of time and the swift passage of years.

The lyrics of this trailer posted by Hilldres:
A jade plate emerges from the cloud-covered land, Dewdrops glisten, What grass does not turn yellow? What virtue has been lost in this time? Like dust drifting on the roadside.
Withered grass and dry willows have not yet faded, Wild sacrifices by the roadside, Bronze camels lie forgotten amidst thorns and brambles. Life and death have their time, immeasurable, All day long, a dream, fleeting light.
A fleeting moment, a galloping horse across the vast wilderness, Where shall it go? What grass does not turn yellow? What virtue has been lost in this time? Like dust drifting on the roadside.
A lone staff, a wild goose's shadow, a single reed boat, Who says the river is wide? Reeds and rushes in the darkness, seeking a broken jade tablet. The past cannot be changed, the future is long.
Friends and wine make a feast, millet and sorghum grow, Some weed, some sow, for the imperial capital. In the desolate courtyard, withered grass, the wind gazes at the moon, Turning into fireflies.
