Which Archons actually had experimented with merging the bloodlines of beasts and humans ? In Ororon's profile, he said it just a story book but many books in Genshin has some element of truth somewhere.

I wonder if the chinese really says archons and not just gods in general.
Like, it sounds pretty weird otherwise. Venti obviously didn't as he wasn't a part of the archon war itself, he just participated in the cup against Decarabian. Zhongli already had gods on his side so it seems pretty useless. Ei was a one woman army (yeah, Makoto fought too but Ei was the power house) and doesn't seem to have needed help from anyone other than her sister. Rukka did not fight, the top dogs in Sumeru were all friends. Egeria was obviously not a part of the war either.
That leaves Xbalanque and the cryo archon. Xbalanque wasn't a part of the archon war, Natlan was were the dragons were fighting so there was no place for gods. We know nothing about the original cryo archon, so my guess would be them, though I doubt it.
It most likely was a random god in Liyue or Inazuma as those seems to be the only places were there was an actual free for all between many gods, Zhongli and Ei were too powerful to resort to those kinds of tricks, but it seems to be exactly the kind of thing a lesser god would try to get the advantage against those two monsters.

Of the archons we know of, most are pyro archons so probably some of them, especially seeing how strong the dragons were. Zhongli and Venti are also shapeshifters and I wouldn't put it past them to "experiment". Seeing how many animal gods there are in Sumeru, Deshret could've had a hand in it as well

It's mistranslation I think , I'm using Vietnamese and it's "Demon god" , not "Archon" . "Archon" is the demon gods who won the Archon War and rewarded by HP

I think this is another case where they really meant to say "gods" rather than "Archons". There WEREN'T any Archons during the Archon War - that was the whole point, to pick out who the Archons would be.
So, the gods experimenting on humans (if it happened at all) might not be any of the Archons we know.
