Because most people are just now reaching friendship level 6 with her

Im sure people can imagine that she did that. She spent a lot of time alone with Sandrone's body.
AlaindeshoGT2026-02-02 08:59
Is her friend, so of course she'd try that. I'ts not going to work, Columbina. She needs a Fontanian genious, like Aino but from Fontaine.

You mean in the AQ?
Because Genshin's writers do not like to dwell on sad things too much.
That's also why Columbina is basically back to normal the next time we meet her.
Besides, I doubt our favorite grumpy clanker kicked the bucket for good. According to her diary, she knew what was going to happen and most likely made a backup of her core data. Now we just need some competent engineer to fix and re-flash her.

Time to give aino a sugar rush

in teh Snadrone Main reddit we have a few talking about it

while tragic now, i give about 80% chance Sandrone created a backup of herself somewhere
GraveXNull2026-02-02 14:15
Wouldn't that technically make her a completely different Sandrone?
Neospanner2026-02-02 16:56
At the very least, it probably means it will be a Sandrone who is missing a lot of her memories.
Her personality might still be the same. (Unless she became a ragebaitable tsundere relatively recently.)
GraveXNull2026-02-02 17:00
Theseus' ship hurts my brain...
If she made a copy of herself as a backup and she gets destroyed, there's using the the copy to restore herself...is she still the original Sandrone or just a copy of the original ttherefore a separate character?
Neospanner2026-02-02 17:16
It's an interesting philosophical question, to be sure. If it's a recent backup, though, the character will at least SEEM similar enough. She will regard herself as the same Sandrone we've gotten to know. And if Sandrone herself considers herself to be the same person, there's no reason we shouldn't, as well.
But if the backup is 400+ years old, Sandrone will likely be very different. She might even be dismayed or horrified by the things Sandrone has done as a Harbinger. In such a case, she'll likely regard the Sandrone we knew as a different person - a version of herself gone bad. She'll want to be regarded as a separate individual, and it would be wise to regard her that way. Even if she doesn't take issue with the previous Sandrone's actions, with 400+ years of experience separating them, she may still prefer not to be seen as the same person.
tl;dr: Basically, it's a question that's up to Sandrone to answer.

Because it's a complete nothingburger and you know it too

Is there some kind of Temporal Prime Directive?
Why can't she just go back in time and save Sandrone?
See this is why you don't introduce time travel to your FANTASY game.
Heck introducing time travel to a science fiction series is already a bad idea.

>Is there some kind of Temporal Prime Directive?
Yes, she is called [Istaroth](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Istaroth).
You saw what happened when Bina tried to change history. She got yanked out every time and was only allowed to do very tiny alterations, that have probably happened already and are sanctioned by Istaroth.
