Torn between ineffa and zibai

Like I said, torn between the two (got a guaranty, and I'm a few pulls away) : Ineffa will improve my Flins team (columbina,sucrose,fischl/Dori when I want more sustain) and also give me wheelchair capacity for other characters, but it's also another electro charge team, do I need two ? I'm not sure I need more power for Flins (I clear abyss ok, and stygian I don't care about the last difficulty, I'm f2p)

Zibai seems cool and powerful, I've got lots of geo chars build so I can slot her in different teams easily. But I also got Navia, and I wonder if with Bina and lunar crystalize she would be enough to clear the new geo content, I like her and don't want to bench her if zibai is not mandatory to clear new geo content...

I'm not a meta player, but I still want to clear content without too much difficulty, so I can't just "pull who I like", as a f2p it's a fine balance to maintain unfortunately

All the new lunar characters are cool, but I skipped most of them because I like my already built characters and don't really want to bench them, and I did ok powerwise despite the power creep, so yeah I'm torn.

Ineffa is good on any account it seems, looks like the most reasonable pull, but Zibai is cool, and if I go for Ineffa but realize later on than Navia is really not enough to clear with bina/Ineffa I'd be pissed, cause I did well enough without Ineffa before.

What's your take on this ?

The good thing about having both Ineffa and Columbina is that you can either use them together or split them in two different teams. Ineffa is like the golden QoL that improves Flins teams immensely because she's a great shielder, buffer, and sub dps in one. On another hand, you can use Columbina on another team to make other Lunar Bloom/Crystallize/Charge teams. If you like Zibai more though then go for her. I haven't really gone deep into her tc but she might need Columbina and/or higher constellation Illuga to be competitive, which means you have to revert back to your old Flins team

She’s my strongest shielder. I don’t used that much but I was thinking about the gimmick stages in Theatre and events that force you to use a certain mechanic and thought if this con would make a big difference, it would be useful if we get a shield focused stage like that or something.

Amber can be a decnet sub-DPS.

Xinyan can be built as a shielder.

Noelle is an on-field DPS, which you only want a handful of for Theater, and you want those to be really good so they can carry a team.

I would do Amber and Xinyan.

Zibai or Neuvillette? I have most of the good characters for both of them (Furina, Columbina, Zhongli, Xilonen, Kazuha, Lauma, Nahida, etc).

On one hand, I like her character (and yes, YiXuan with dem cutscene angles xd) to see how strong she is being solelly made for Lunar Crystalize, asuming she can do what Nilou for Bloom.

On the other hand, Neuvillette will ALWAYS rerun with hyped and debuting 5☆. Moreover he's a flexible unit thanks to hydro so he can be on MANY teams and use Zhongli so he doesn't get interrupted and waste 4s on recovery like Wanderer wich is anoying and also kills F12 runs.

If you care about meta then Zibai would be better, assuming you can get a few cons of Illuga and Gorou if you haven't C6 him already along the way. I don't actually recommend getting Neuvillette nowadays meta wise, since he is starting to show his age and being left behind.

If you already have another lunar carry (Flins or Nefer) then Zibai is less desirable, but I still don't recommend Neuvillette.

For meta probably Zibai if no other lunar or noone (Lunar-charge was more usefull with boss variety so far).
Zibai is so funny in quests and promos, will pull on banner but not go out of my way. (try few pulls to get Illuga for +1 Moonsign for other team).

Geo was in neglect always, it has no reactions and having geo characfers is rare. You can also just use overload to break geo shields.
Neuvillette can still clear only thanks to supports, but not in his "hypercarry" teams. He would be good if exact same abyss bosses did not increase HP by +50% (for example 2mil to 3mil for robot), and who knows how much HP next bosses will have. Now Neuvillette is carried by Mavuika. I may be wrong, but guess his up to date team is something like Citlali, Durin, Xilonen, but not Zhongli. Last time used him with Mavuika Xilonen for lunar horse-"slime" that changes elements.

i just pulled for ineffa and I'm so confused!!
so aubade is her BiS, and if she's teaming up with columbina then columbina should use SMS. but then, we should not be using SMS if there's already someone using it! my lauma is using SMS.

what if i want to pair these three ladies?? currently my columbina is using aubade, should i stay with aubade or farm sms again for her?

is it ok to put both ineffa and columbina on aubade, and just lauma on sms??

im so confusedddd.

It's fine to have both on Aubade, with or without SMS on someone else. Of course, having someone on SMS is ideal since it's a team-wide buff, and Bina does less DPS than Ineffa and needs energy more so she's usually the better option for it, but you can just do double Aubade instead. Especially with cons/sig on Bina for more DPS.

If you're using Lauma too, you're on-fielding Bina for the special charged attacks most likely, but you gotta be careful about your skill order. If the enemy gets a Dendro aura, Ineffa's damage will plummet until you get it back to Hydro (after a short delay, so you can afford \~4s of Dendro aura if necessary.) So a 2nd Hydro is advisable to help with auras, but Sucrose is still the GOAT for max damage potential if you line up your skills correctly.

Pairing these three isn't really something you can do. Bloom favors leaving a dendro aura, so you will get little to no uptime on the hydro + electro aura that Ineffa needs to do the large majority of her damage. You can address this with fast hydro application in the last slot or very careful skill timing.

But let's pretend it's all fine to talk about the sets. It's pretty simple: serenade 4p does nothing specifically for the wearer, but its team damage gain is greater than having aubade on any single given character. So you want one serenade in the team, on the character with the lowest personal damage (who loses the least by not being on a set like aubade) who isn't otherwise tied to another important set. Lauma would be a fine serenade carrier.

Your current Neuvillette team is good enough to clear one side of Abyss and I would guess Menacing.

A second good team would let you clear both sides of Abyss if you don't have one yet. Sounds like a good time to start investing.

Ineffa is a solid upgrade to your Neuvillette team and then you could move her into Flins if you get him when you want two teams.

Lisa is better as a DPS, and easier to level.

If you like either of them, then pulling them isn't the worst idea. Zibai comes with her whole team on the banner, Neuvi doesn't want any of them but can function with just about anyone on his team. Though both have pretty simple playstyles, so do their trial to make sure you're not gonna get too bored of playing them before pulling.

So far, it spoils one big plot point of the finale, and a few other very vauge comments.

But also, the quest is permanent this time, so you can do the first 5 mins with no spoilers to unlock all the minigames, get all the rewards, and leave the quest itself for later.

Go Ineffa. Of those 3, she'll take the longest to rerun, and is the biggest help to your 2 mains. Pick up Bina on rerun, and only go for Zibai if you actually like her playstyle.

If guaranteed and close to pity, probably skip Zibai unless you have enough saved to go for C1. Half her value is her best 4-stars are on banner with her allowing you to get constellations and especially Illuga. So you almost WANT to be wishing on her banner a good chunk.

Probably grab ineffa or Columbia. Ineffa is stronger option but close enough i think “pick your fav” rules apply.

Yeah, her shield plus her extra damage really helps Neuvi's weak points (easy to stagger and low base damage). If you have Sac Jade from the Battlepass, Neuvi sig isn't a big jump in damage. If you really like Neuvi, then I guess it's a decent upgrade, but I'd still pick Ineffa or C1 for the comfort, C1 especially if you play with Furina.

Who should I pull in the second phase?
Im F2p with 150 wishes on a 50/50, but I've had terrible luck so far (as in, losing all of my 50/50's since Ive started the game)

I pull for meta and Neuvilette seems to be a longstanding top dps, but I dont own furina. On the other hand I do have xilonen and Columbina if I do pull Zibai. Overall I'd rather have a dps that can be usable for longer and is more versatile, but I know I can't unlock Neuvilettes max damage without furina.

Alternatively, would it be better for me to just skip and wait for future characters instead? I'm not particularly in need for a dps (i currently have Arlecchino, Mualani and Flins)

Neuvillette has been powercrept several times; he is not top DPS, not by a long shot. You need to spend TWICE as much on him and his team, to still underperform when compared to the newest stuff.

I feel you should maybe pull for Columbina and/or Ineffa, to improve your Flins' team; and probably not pull for anyone on second phase.

With 100 fates, bit over 50%? HuTaobot can probably give exact odds.

The system (on character banner) is it takes up to 90 pulls to get a 5-star. (odds go up around pull 74 or do). When you get a 5-star, it's 50% chance of being the limited character (Ineffa in this case), 50% of being a random Standard one. If you get a Standard, your next 5-star (up to 90 wishes again) is guaranteed to be the limited one.

(There's also Captured Radiance, but that's not relevant here, so skipping that explanation)

So in your case you'd definitely get at least one 5-star, but that'd be 50/50 of being Ineffa. (If you don't get her, any pity/guarantees from losing would carry over to future character banners).

Do you like Zibai? You certainly shouldn't need 'A Lunar DPS' with those 2, and even if you want one Flins will add more to that team than Zibai would. But if you do like Zibai, then you can make a decent second team, or a pretty good full Lunar team.

I like her, and I don't have many Geo units for IT or possible SO content that might require it. I've got Goro C4, and I heard Xilonen can work pretty well with Zibai as well (not running these three together tho, since that way Xilonen bricks the whole thing).

My reasoning for not getting Flins is that he would need Ineffa and Columbina together. Zibai can work with Columbina, leaving Ineffa for other teammates, as she doesn't need ascendant gleam to work properly. In this situation, however, I wouldn't try to get Lauma, since I want to start saving for future content as soon as possible.

Ineffa+columbina should be able to clear fearless lunar content as is. If you need another fearless team and can commit enough wishes to get a good number of constellations on 4-star supports with zibai c1 or something is a strong option. If you don’t need another fearless team, then there’s nothing saying you need to do anything

DPS units will always be pull the ones you like as they're the most replacable units in an account. Zibai will be the more meta choice but Neuv is still a good DPS and easy to use despite being 2 years old. If you can snag Columbina and Zibai, you're have a very good team for her but Zibai banner also offers her entire team f2p team options while none of the 4 stars on that banner synergize with neuv. If you don't like them, you can skip.

This early current Ineffa banner is pretty good. Fischl is best electro suppot since game release, and you can do her new Witch quest for buffs. Sethos is newer 4-star DPS, can be pretty good with combos. Columbina is also fine.

If I were you, I would seriously test Zibai a lot on her trial; and if you happen to like both her and her gameplay; and the sounds she plays are not too much or annoying to you... strongly consider her. Her banner basically includes her whole team, and she should be as strong as they get right now. Neuvillette requires twice (or more) the wish invesment than newer stuff... to still underperform compared to them.

All of that, obviously, assuming you care to be strong and/or the "meta" and clear as much endgame content as possible. If you just play more casually and/or don't care about the endgame; just the story and some farming; Neuvillette is still perfectly fine there; so just go for whoever you enjoy playing the most.

What shields from shards? It's a Lunar-Crystallize team remember, instead of shields you get turrets.

Gorou is generally considered with Flute, but if you're a madlad or playing with PAmber Bina, even 50% uptime on the 90% HP passive is better than Flute.

I forgor lol But yea, I’m a madlad who plays with Amber Bina so yeah. Also, in the showcase videos I watched, there were shard shields. Maybe regular crystalize before lunar is applied? Still, won’t be enough for sure since it’ll stop spawning the moment the turrets appear.

If those videos had a third element on the team, Geo reactions with that element could produce shards. Only Hydro Crystallize gets converted.

If you have Pyro, Electro or Cryo then you get a few shields, regardless of if turrets or not. Hydro will never give shields as long as Bina or Zibai is on the team.

It's Lunar-Crystallize. It doesn't make shards.

Hopefully by "the flute", you mean "Flute of Ezpitzal", and not "The Flute". Don't run The Flute. Gorou has some healing on C4, and if you can maintain decent Harbinger of Dawn uptime with that and maybe Prototype Amber or something, go for Harbinger. If you find yourself staying below 90% HP in practice, switch to Flute of Ezpitzal.

It took be a while to connect it, but 'Flute' in the context of Zibai refers to the Flute of Ezpitzal actually, the Def scaling Natlan craftable sword. It is more consistent than Harbinger at least if you can't maintain a shield.

Lunar Crystallise also does not produce hydro crystallised shards, so the shield will have to come from another party member. If they don't have Zhongli or C1 Columbina then Ezpitzal might be better.

i want to build my mona only for her burst but i dont know what artifact set i should run. i will be using her with bennet and bennett is already running 4 piece nobless. i was thinking of putting 2 piece nobless and 2 piece emblem of severed fate or for piece emblem of severed fate on mona . i genuinely have no idea what artifact set i should use.

Scroll is also an option, but would need 2 Natlan chars to proc every rotation, and in that scenario the 2nd Natlan char probably would hold Scroll instead. Still, maybe an option.

If those are your two choices, I think I would go for C2 Lan Yan. Personally I went for C2 Yaoyao because she had my lowest constellation, and I didn't really care that much about anyone's CONs in there. Had already C6 Xiangling and Gaming; and I don't care that much to get my Xingqiu from C5 to C6. I will probably end pulling him someday.

I just pulled on Ineffa banner and got Keqing,(and claimed the stella fortuna from journey event which I was not claiiming on Qiqi for situation like this), so I have c1 keqing. P.S. I had also lost my 50/50 on Bina banner on first day of the patch.

So I have columbina but not any other nod krai 5 star unit, So i am thinking of playing keqing with coloumbina, fischl and xiangqiu/ Aino( if I build her). So which artifact will be good ( night sky or any other).

my main team is Diluc, furina, xilonen and Bennet. and these all total 5\* units I have.

as for good ones of 4 stars, I have xiangling,cheveruse, kuki, gaming, lanyan,ororon, faruzan, yunjin at c0, some c1. sethos and ifa at c5 and fischl too,(only fischl and XQ,XL are levelled to 80) provided this because I may get better team synergy advice than ones I am using and ones I have been planning on using

Honestly I would try to keep getting Ineffa until she leaves the banner in your case. If you don´t get her i wouldnt worry though there´s plenty of good characters rerunning soon anyways

Ineffa or Zibai

Okay, I just want opinions here, really… from others’ POV. (please don’t flame me, should this question be a dumb one -_-)

First, I’m a pure F2P, and just got Bina and her sig, and I actually got Ineffa’s sig too (lost the 50/50).

And now, I am guaranteed at 0 pity rn, after losing Ineffa to Dehya.

For characters, I don’t really have a problem with building a good (Nod-Krai) team, since I have Bina, Nefer, Lauma, and Jahoda.

Given all that info, can you tell me who’s more valuable, meta-wise and lore-wise (how significant they are in the main storyline)? Does Zibai really need her sig and specific team? Who’s more expensive to build? How about versatility? Will Zibai get Escoffier and Emilie treatment, being hyped for a moment, and then forgotten?

I can definitely scavenge for some primo, but it’ll only be enough for one character.

Again, it might be dumb, but please tell me your opinion anyway. Thank you!

Tl;dr : got Ineffa’s sig, want to know if I should def pull for Ineffa, or go for Zibai

As someone who is pulling for Zibai, I wouldn´t pull for Zibai if I weren´t looking for a Geo DPS and a Lunar DPS, also I woulddn´t pull for Zibai if you dont have a good amount of pulls saved since she depends heavily on Illuga (which is also risky really)

noone can guess if Zibai gets appearances later. but id have to bet on no. outside of other Liyue events

but Ineffa as well, might not appear much anymore, cause we got all her lore in the introduction before NodKrai already. and the main NK story is finished. she didnt even get the chance to take part in the main fight
i got Flins too separately, but i did put Bina+Ineffa on my Chasca team sometimes so there is some versatility.

I still can't decide if I should get ineffa or zi bai.

I am a f2p, im currently using the team of varesa, columbina, aino and fischl, I was wondering if I should pull for ineffa to make my team stronger but I also kinda want zi bai so I can have another team if I get bored of playing varesa.

I am guaranteed to get limited and I think im at 65 pity. I still dont exactly know who to get

Varesa would be better in overload if possible
id get Ineffa if youd consider Flins later (or some people running main dps Bina with both Lauma and Ineffa)
otherwise Zibai seems like a better idea

I'm thinking about getting Neuvillette's C1 because I feel like it would help me a lot, but what I'm worried about is the recent trend of power creep and new character shilling. I know that no one can know for sure how things will go, but do you think that he will keep being relevant for a while or is he already starting to show signs of "age".

Why do you want his C1? If what you want is less interruption there´s plenty of strong characters that can give Neuvillette that, buffing his damage also isn´t as worth it as it used to be.

It's so that I don't have to worry about getting the 3rd stack of his passive. I don't have a dedicated lunar-charged team so I was thinking of using Bineffa with him when needed. It also would've come in handy in the past in certain situations, like against the fire crab in stygian or in the theatre where rarely ever have 3 other elements.

Part of the problem is that Mavuika hasn’t been able to run her melt teams as easily through the past stygians. White shields not being reactable against, enemies attacking with electro to overload and mess up your aura, etc. There are some overload teams when played really well (doing the buffered charged attack) can still clear the content (I haven’t looked for a c0r0 Mav, but if you have the -1 cost from Citlali added as c0r1 and only overload supports then definitely).

For this specific stygian, the dog summons being melted against was one of the more common clears without a lunar carry that I have seen.

Flowing Purity provides 16% unconditionally and up to a total of 40% if you heal of the bond. Dodoco provides 16% for charged attacks (she has damage split amongst several parts of her kit) and gives a bit more attack (can be saturated with other sources of attack). So it is still fine, but it can lose out to the craftable

It's a low base ATK weapon with high ATK% substat. That's generally a bad combination to have. Even with near unconditional 32% damage on her normal/charge attacks, it doesn't really hold up well compared to just about any of her other decent F2P options these days. (And as first person mentioned, doesn't even really hold up to Widsith without a buff, just by virtue of being a slightly higher base ATK crit weapon)

In that case, there should have been an option to link an existing account when you first opened up the game on Xbox.

If you linked an account during that and you're sure it was the right one, then the only issue I can think of is that the server regions don't line up. What region do you play on for the account, and would that line up with the country your Xbox account is registered under?
