Hoyo cant keep getting away with all this irl cosmic marketing tactic
Saltyclone2026-02-02 11:41
Wait there are others!??? Is there a list?
paweld20032026-02-02 12:15
Phainon banner in HSR started during a day that had a visible Solar Halo. Same way during Cyrene banner launch there was Pink Aurora Borealis.
I can't remember others, but Im sure there was few more both in Genshin and HSR

It’s more with HSR, but from memory:
1. [HSR] Solar halo appears above Shanghai (their headquarters) on day Phainon gets released
2. [HSR] Last year, astronomers discovered a galaxy that is the same shape as Amphoreous
3. [HSR] Pink Auroras appearing around same time as Cyrene’s release or something I think (?)
4. [Genshin] Blood moon 2 days before Nod Krai

Hoyo is secretly the heavenly principles irl

Maybe we do live in a false sky and the 'universe' we see is rendered as needed
brandnewwwwW2026-02-02 13:31
also there was some sort of really strong solar wave the day of phainon’s rerun lol. or maybe it was the day of 3.7 release, i don’t remember

3. It was coincidentally ( or was it) on her birthday. Nov 11

They say money controls the world so gacha banners are manifesting phenomena irl from all the money being spent.

Doctor: miss me?
Erod_Nelps2026-02-02 10:51
apparently this photo isn't a real paraselene, but this is the first time I hear about this phenomenon so idk
Prestigious_Young5102026-02-02 10:51
Nod Krai sales have been too crazy for them to be having this kind of budget for marketing
YannFrost2026-02-02 11:16
Again Hoyo....Stop altering space and time for marketing. It will kill us some day.
SpyFromMarsHXJD2026-02-02 11:41
RT news (Russian owned media) in China has been going crazy in recently years as Snezhnaya getting closer and closer.
Sufficient-Ad88252026-02-02 11:42

r0ksas2026-02-02 11:56

Background_Dot36922026-02-02 12:27
I am from St Petersburg, Russia. Today, we are having a usual snowstorm, I doubt that sky would be clear at the night. It is 3pm, and all sky is white from snow clouds.
InternationalList7382026-02-02 12:38
And the fact that Snezhnaya is based off Russia
Storyteller-Hero2026-02-02 15:08
Beware the false moons...
Small-Percentage-9622026-02-02 15:29
