Bina on-field teams: no on-field lunar crystalize team?

I'm trying her on-field team options after i got her C2, she becomes a very capable DPS, i'm loving this.

I'm also looking for team recommendations, what other ones should i try? Illuga needs to come home, i dont have chiori so my off field geo applications are lacking so no on field lunar crystalize team :(

I'm open to feedback too, i still don't know which set is better on which, in the first team Fischl should be on SMS to open night on bina and aubade on Ineffa to maximaze damage, right? I will keep experimenting, i'm loving her flexibility, im hoping we get a lunar pyro and cryo reaction so she has like 3+ teams to play with (delusional)

The problem with on-field Bina is that nothing in her kit really allows her to deal significant damage this way, except Lunar Bloom via charged attacks.

So if you play her on field, you are just using her as a hydro driver, meaning you need off-field characters to trigger the reactions. For Lunar Charge it works because Ineffa has an off-field kit, and there are lots of electro sub-dpses (raiden, fischl...). For Lunar Crystalize, it's a bit more difficult, because aside from Chiori, there aren't really any proper geo sub-dps or even just off-field applicators. Geo being a very mono-team centric element, most geo characters are either onfielders or buffers but not applicators.

Best bet could be a quick-swap Ninguang I guess since she is a catalyst. Otherwise, Chiori, Albedo and Navia (with her burst) are the only viable options afaik.

Zhongli has very very good Geo application with his skill. It's a shame that as an artifact from 1.x era, his stele breaks easily and his C1 can't summon 2 steles at once.

In terms of off-field geo application, there are the following:
1. **Chiori** with her skill
2. **Albedo** with his skill
3. **Kachina** with her skill and burst (+ you have the nightsoul burst to utilize with the artifact set)
4. **Xilonen** with her burst (+ healing + you have the nightsoul burst to utilize with the artifact set)
5. **Navia** with her burst (but at this point why don't you just use her as a DPS? *wink wink*)
6. **Zhongli** with his skill (pulsing Geo AoE + shields + combined with Geo Traveler and/or Ningguang for geo constructs giving extra pulses)

Thank you!! My options then are Kacina, Xilonen, Navia and Zhongli, I will try quickswap burst Navia + Zhongli + Gorou c6, that might work, but sadly without Chiori or Albedo I really doesnt have a proper "solid" team for it...

I've got Navia and Quickswap Navia is fun. You'll probably have a blast with this one mate

I'm unsure how useful Gorou could be since no character in this comp benefits from boosted DEF but you could try

Most for healing, but i might try Aino for ascendent gleam as I'm using zhongli shield, i wouldn't need a healer.

Have you tried Ningguang? I haven't tried myself yet, but oh man how I would love it, if Ningguang would become a notable on-fielder.

PotatoBreadDad2026-02-02 15:51

Oh yes, she is amazing on-field, but I'm trying to build one around Columbina on-field

Rough-Stranger-3142026-02-02 17:35

Oh ok, maybe you could try Ineffa, Mona and Fischl then. That would give you hydro- and electro resonance buffs, Lunar buffs and Hexerei buffs for Fischl and Mona. That Hex buff is pretty good for Mona because you can make the damage buff now last much longer.

I took my Columbina, built as an on field DPS and absolutely demolished two bosses in IT on Lunar mode using my crappy geo units for geo lunar damage.

Originally, I tried the first boss more traditionally and barely killed it, I wanted the Stella. I was legit blown away by how much damage she did.
