What team is great for Mualani?

I found a Genshin team builder and it set me up with Mualani, Ineffa, Sucrose and Diona. I’d like to replace Sucrose with Mizuki and Diona with maybe Qiqi but I don’t know. I haven’t played Genshin in a while and I’d like to build my team but I’m not sure if my team is strong enough as is. I’m not talking about levelling or upgrading, just want to know if my team is strong enough or if they won’t work together. Orr if my team should completely be reordered. Any tips will help!

To maximize Mualani's damage, you ideally want a vaporize team.

Good offield pyro unit: Mavuika, Pyro Traveler, Xiangling

Buffers or off-field damage as the other 2 units:

an anemo unit for VV is great; Sucrose is perfect, Mizuki also works

Mona has an exceptional synergy when played with sucrose due to the Hexerei buff

Other good units would be xilonen, emilie, Chiori, zhongli, kachina, kazuha

Mualani is really good with a vaporize team, I'd suggest doing a vaporize team

That's an AI generated team for sure. It'd probably do ok for overworld at least, but Diona is a bit out of place in the Hydro+Electro team. Fischl instead would be way better, or even Barbara for Hydro resonance to increase Mualani's HP/damage.

As for your substitutions, strictly downgrades. Mizuki is an on-fielder, and gives no team buffs off-field. And Qiqi is just bad, good healing but nothing else. At least Diona heals, shields, *and* at C6 gives an EM buff (why the AI probably picked her, cuz in theory Mualani likes EM buffs)

But Mualani works best in a Vape team, with Pyro on the enemies, which would ruin Ineffa's damage. Check [KQM](https://keqingmains.com/q/mualani-quickguide/) for proper teams.

Mualani-Sucrose<VV>-Xilonen<Scroll>-PyroTraveler/Mavuika/Dehya<Petra>. That pretty much her basic vape team.

You also can go with dual DPS: Mavuika-Xilonen-Citlali-Mualani. Both mavuika and mualani using Obsian Codex.

Never do team building apps or websites amigo, you're better off understanding your own characters and seeing how they mesh well together. That's the fun part of team building.
