What exactly makes Paimon the best travel companion?

Is it because she’s our translator?
Because that’s pretty much all she does right now

I know she’s obviously important to the story and will play a bigger role in the future. That’s probably the real reason she’s always with us

her calling herself the best travel companion feels a bit… undeserved

Paimon does. its just what she calls herself to validate equality in their standing.

Also, Paimon remembers EVERY name and place and lore bit we come across to remind the players.

That thing is the **only** travel companion, so it's the best by default, if you believe it that is... it's also the worst by default using the same logic and that's the version I prefer.

No **true** best friend would be such a parasite and free-loader and be so ignorant around you... but that thing doesn't know any better.

I mean ask yourself, if you were someone's best friend, would you behave like that? Interrupting conversations, answering questions they got asked, making decisions for them, always demanding they do what you want? Would you really do that?
